Celebrating the history & heritage of brewing in Leeds

Reimagining a Historic Brewery

The Tetley is the former headquarters of Joshua Tetley & Son, at one time the largest producer of cask beer in the world.

After closing its doors as a brewery in 2011, it reinvented itself as a contemporary art gallery, and is now embarking on a new journey with Kirkstall Brewery at the helm.

Kirkstall Brewery is proud to take on the lease of The Tetley, with ambitious plans to transform this historic site into a vibrant hub for conferencing, events, food, and drink, enhancing its legacy as a cornerstone of Yorkshire’s cultural scene.
